Cathedral of St. Patrick-  Charlotte, NC issued the following announcement on Oct.12

“To be ‘blessed,’ in order to taste the comfort of friendship with Jesus Christ, it is necessary to have an open heart. Beatitude is an arduous gamble, made by sacrifice, listening and learning, the fruits of which are gathered over time, giving ourselves an incomparable peace: ‘O taste and see that the Lord is good!’ (Ps 34:8).” — Pope Francis
