All women are invited to discover the beauty of the rosary during a retreat at Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House in Waverly on May 10-11. The retreat, titled "Let’s Talk Roses," will be led by Janette Howe, the foundress of the Seven Sisters Apostolate.

“Whether you’re a lifelong rosary ‘pray-er,’ or just beginning this powerful devotion, you’ll come away spiritually nourished and inspired to let the rosary bloom in your daily life,” Howe expressed.

Janette Howe, a registered nurse and holder of a master’s degree in theological studies from Ave Maria University, is known for her dedication to promoting prayer for priests through apostolates like Truth Himself and the Seven Sisters Apostolate. The Seven Sisters Apostolate involves groups of seven women who each pray a weekly holy hour for a specific priest.

To learn more about the Seven Sisters Apostolate, interested individuals can contact diocesan coordinator Rhonda Litt at 402-525-6396 or visit sevensistersapostolate.org.

The rosary retreat will commence on Friday, May 10, with a 7 p.m. Mass followed by an 8 p.m. talk, and will conclude on Saturday with a 6 p.m. supper. Women of all ages are encouraged to attend, regardless of whether they are part of a Seven Sisters group.

In addition to the "Let’s Talk Roses" retreat, Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House will be hosting various other retreats, including "Back to the Garden" for young adult women, Ignatian directed retreats, and spiritual exercises for both women and men.
