Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez will lead the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s annual Mass in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 11, 2025. The event will take place at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, located at 18th Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.
The evening will begin with a Rosary for the immigrant community at 8:00 p.m., followed by Mass at 9:00 p.m. Archbishop Pérez is scheduled to serve as both principal celebrant and homilist. Our Lady of Guadalupe is recognized as the Patroness of the Americas, Unborn Children, and the New Evangelization.
"Faithful from throughout the five-county Archdiocese will gather at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in honor of our Blessed Virgin Mary. Prior to Mass, a Rosary will be held for the immigrant community."
After Holy Communion during Mass, an icon representing Our Lady of Guadalupe will be carried in procession through the aisles.
