The Marian Committee will organize a First Saturday Devotion on November 1 at St. Ignatius Martyr Church, with Mass starting at 9 a.m., followed by the devotion and reconciliation at 9:30 a.m. The event will include adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, a reading from the Gospel, a homily, and sacred music.

An Infant Prayer Service for families who have lost a child is scheduled for October 29 in the Holy Innocents Section of Calvary Cemetery. This service takes place monthly on the last Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Families wishing to add names to the prayer list can call 451-7710.

A Mass of Remembrance for those who have lost a child will be held on November 15 at St. Louis Bertrand Church. The Mass is organized by the Red Bird Ministries Grief Group in collaboration with the archdiocese’s Office of Family and Life Ministries. “For more information, contact family@archlou.org.”

A Maranatha Retreat aimed at individuals with chronic illness and their caregivers is planned for November 8 at Nazareth Retreat Center in Nazareth, Kentucky, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registration is required but there is no fee to attend.

Mount Saint Francis Center for Spirituality in Indiana will host “Holding Hope in the Holidays: A Grief Retreat” on November 2, which includes dinner and costs $25.

The St. Serra Club of Louisville will hold its next luncheon meeting on November 3 at Golden Corral restaurant. Marnie McAllister, editor of The Record, will be speaking at this event.

Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PAL) continues to meet weekly every Sunday afternoon at St. John Paul II Church.

Ups & Downs, a support group for those experiencing loss or mental health challenges, meets monthly on Fridays at Forest Hills Commons Assisted Living Facility as part of St. Michael Church’s ministry.

St. Margaret Mary Church will offer “DivorceCare — Surviving the Holidays” both in person and via Zoom on November 6.

The St. Meinrad Archabbey Library Gallery in Indiana features an exhibit by Iris Gentry until December 2; admission is free.
