Reverend Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D. Bishop | Archdiocese of Louisville

The Archdiocese of Louisville will hold its fifth annual Gold Mass for those involved or interested in science on November 15 at St. Albert the Great Church, located at 1395 Girard Drive. The event, scheduled for 10 a.m., coincides with the feast day of St. Albert, who is recognized as the patron saint of scientists.

The Mass is open to scientists, science students, educators, and anyone interested in the field. Following the service, attendees are invited to a reception that will include a presentation about the newly developed “Faith and Science Resource Book.” This publication was created by the archdiocese’s Faith and Science Dialogue Group and is available for free download through the Archdiocese of Louisville's website at www.archlou.org/faith-and-science/.
