Members of parish respect life groups are invited to attend a Mass and educational program at St. Gabriel Church, located at 5505 Bardstown Road, on October 1. Confession will be available starting at 5 p.m., followed by Mass at 6:30 p.m. The event will include fellowship and continuing education.
On October 18, both established and newly formed Walking with Moms in Need groups with committed leaders are invited to participate in an event from 10 a.m. to noon in the parish hall of St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1960 Bardstown Road. The gathering will focus on sharing best practices, building community, and offering tips for group effectiveness.
A discussion about end-of-life decisions is scheduled for October 28 at St. Gabriel Church. Catholics interested in understanding church teaching and Kentucky law regarding these matters can attend confessions at 5 p.m., Mass at 6:30 p.m., followed by a discussion led by Father Tony Smith and attorney Misty Clark Vantrease.
