The Catholic Education Foundation is preparing for its 18th annual Salute to THE GAME luncheon, scheduled for noon on September 25 at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville. The event highlights the longstanding football rivalry between St. Xavier and Trinity high schools.
According to organizers, last year’s luncheon generated a record $650,000. Since it began, the event has raised more than $5.5 million. These funds are used by the foundation to provide tuition assistance and grants that support Catholic education within the Archdiocese of Louisville.
Tickets for this year’s luncheon are priced at $350 per person. More information can be found at ceflou.org. The football game between St. Xavier and Trinity will take place at 8 p.m. on September 26 at Cardinal Stadium, with general admission tickets available for $10 through https://www.gofevo.com/event/2025st2.
