The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced plans to study the real-world impacts of abortion drugs. This decision follows a recent inquiry from Republican attorneys general regarding changes made by the Biden administration to federal safety protocols.

During the Biden administration, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) removed requirements for in-person dispensing of abortion drugs. This policy change has allowed these medications to be obtained through mail order without a physical examination or direct medical supervision.

Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, commented on the development: "Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America is a network of more than one million pro-life Americans nationwide, dedicated to ending abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders."
