Christian Brothers University (CBU) has been recognized in the 2026 U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges rankings, earning places in several categories for the Southern region. The university was listed among the Best Regional Universities (South), Best Value Schools (South), and Top Performers on Social Mobility (South).
The U.S. News rankings are determined by evaluating nearly 1,500 colleges nationwide, with a focus on graduation rates, faculty resources, student success, social mobility, and long-term value.
According to CBU, these results highlight its commitment to academic quality and its Lasallian mission of providing a values-based education that prepares students for purposeful leadership. The university notes that students benefit from its close-knit community.
Earlier in the year, CBU was also included in Forbes’ 2026 list of “America’s Top Colleges,” making it one of only ten institutions in Tennessee to receive this recognition.
Prospective students and their families can review how CBU compares to other universities at U.S. News Best Colleges.
