The School of Education at St. John's University-New York held an orientation event for new graduate students on August 27. The gathering marked the start of the academic year and introduced incoming students to the university community.

James D. Wolfinger, Ph.D., Dean of The School of Education, addressed the group during the event. He said, “Students are the lifeblood of any university. They always bring energy and an inquisitiveness that make St. John’s lively. As always, we are excited to have them join us and we can’t wait to start the new year.”

The orientation aimed to help students become familiar with their peers and faculty as they begin their graduate studies in education. According to organizers, students expressed enthusiasm about joining a diverse learning environment focused on preparing future educators.

The School of Education encourages its new graduate students to engage fully with their coursework and campus life as they begin their programs this semester.
