More than 1,800 teenagers gathered at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando for Steubenville Florida 2025. The event was hosted in collaboration with Life Teen and focused on worship, reflection, and transformation. The theme, "Consumed," encouraged students to consider how the world consumes us and how we are made to be consumed by God's love.

Youth from various parishes including St. Margaret Mary in Winter Park and Holy Family in Orlando attended the conference. It began on June 27 with a call for youth to recognize distractions and burdens they carry. Through preaching, worship, and testimonies, teens were urged to root their identity in Christ rather than the world.

Saturday's session emphasized consuming the Word of God, highlighted by a Mass led by Father Rufino Corona from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Separate sessions for men and women explored managing emotions and fears. These prepared participants for Eucharistic Adoration—a significant moment where many knelt, wept, and prayed.

Prayer Labs offered practical tools like Lectio Divina to sustain faith beyond the weekend. A keynote asked students to consider how worldly pressures consume them while emphasizing Jesus' sacrificial love.

Gabriel commented on understanding worship: “We are giving something to someone we can’t give enough to.” Simon noted finding peace in God's answers: “It gives me a sense of peace knowing I don’t have to worry—I just need to listen.”

Attendee John praised Adoration over video games; Teresa valued time with friends and Christ: “Steubenville is a very impactful experience I believe every teen should do,” she said.

The presence of priests allowed students access to Reconciliation. Bishop John Noonan briefly attended to support participants. Vocations Director Father Zachary Parker engaged students about discerning God's call.

The conference concluded on June 29 with Adoration, commissioning students to share God's love in their communities. Erin from St. Mary Magdalen decided on Confirmation preparation: “I want to say yes to Jesus for the rest of my life.”

Amanda from St. John the Evangelist invited others: “Steubenville is a place where you can discover a deeper path to God."
