Catholic Charities of Philadelphia (CCoP) has released its 2023-2024 annual report, detailing the organization's impact on nearly 300,000 individuals in the five-county region during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.

The report states that CCoP directly assisted 294,403 adults, children, seniors, and families. Services provided included pregnancy and parenting support to approximately 6,045 clients; Out-of-School Time programs for 477 children and youth; assistance to 9,548 newcomers; shelter for 861 individuals experiencing homelessness; senior center benefits for 1,363 seniors; elder care programs aiding 973 older adults; and residential care for 228 men, women, and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Additionally, CCoP’s Nutritional Development Services delivered over 5.6 million meals to children through federally funded Child Nutrition Programs. More than two million additional meals were distributed via over fifty food cupboards, shelters, senior centers, and Family Service Centers. Martha’s Choice Marketplace and Community Farm produced over 18,000 pounds of food for clients.

"CCoP nourishes the hungry and provides shelter for those experiencing homelessness; strengthens and supports at-risk children, youth, and families; enriches the lives of senior citizens; and empowers Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities."
