Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez will address the media concerning the recent election of Pope Leo XIV. The new pope, previously known as Cardinal Robert F. Prevost, has been chosen as the Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church.

The media availability is scheduled for Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. It will take place at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul located on 18th Street and Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, PA.
