Benedictine University has teamed up with Mays Music Centre of Excellence to present "Lift Every Voice," a musical event featuring International Music Ambassador Isaac S. Cates, a composer and recording artist. The event will also include performances by local choirs like Divine Sound Gospel Choir, Wheaton College Gospel Choir, and Kingdom Baptist Church.

The event is intended to bring the community together through gospel music and will occur at Benedictine University. Al Legutki, a professor at Benedictine University, emphasized the power of music, saying, "Music transcends boundaries and uplifts communities. We’re honored to host this celebration and amplify voices that inspire joy and unity."

Mikel Mays, CEO and Founder of Mays Music Centre of Excellence, noted the ongoing growth of the event. “This is the 3rd Annual Lift Every Voice Gospel Celebration and each year has grown on the successes of the prior years, giving artists a chance to connect, learn, and grow together as a community," he said.

This collaboration reflects the shared goals of both institutions to promote cultural enrichment and artistic excellence.
