Benedictine University has been recognized with the 2024-2025 Military Friendly School designation. This recognition comes as a result of an evaluation using public data and responses to a proprietary survey. Out of over 1,800 participating institutions, 537 received special awards for exceeding standard expectations.
The Military Friendly Schools list will be featured in the May and October issues of G.I. Jobs magazine and is available at www.militaryfriendly.com.
Viqtory, in collaboration with the Military Friendly Advisory Council comprised of leaders in higher education and military recruitment, established the methodology, criteria, and weightings for the designation. Final ratings considered survey scores and the institution's performance in areas such as student retention, graduation rates, job placement, loan repayment, and persistence rates, with a focus on student veterans.
"Military Friendly is committed to transparency and providing consistent data-driven standards in our designation process. Our standards provide a benchmark that promotes positive outcomes and support services that better the educational landscape and provide opportunity for the Military Community. This creates a competitive atmosphere that encourages Institutions to evolve and invest in their programs consistently. Schools who achieve awards designation show true commitment in their efforts, going over and above that standard."
