The Catholic Education Foundation has announced that its fourth annual online bourbon raffle has successfully raised $300,000. The funds collected from the event will be directed towards providing tuition assistance to 300 students for the next academic year.
The organization revealed that thirty winners were selected during a livestreamed drawing held on March 25.
Rich Lechleiter, the president of the Catholic Education Foundation, expressed his satisfaction with the results: “What a fantastic outcome for our Catholic school families who are reaching out to us in record numbers for help. Now in our fourth year, this event’s net result will create a Catholic school experience for 300 students whose families can’t afford it.”
The foundation's continued commitment to supporting education through innovative fundraising means like the bourbon raffle aims to provide new opportunities for families seeking quality education for their children.
