The Chrism Mass for the Archdiocese of Louisville will be celebrated on April 15 at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Assumption by Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre. During the Mass, the oils used for various sacraments throughout the year will be blessed and consecrated. Priests will also come together to renew their vows, followed by a reception.

Catholic Cemeteries in Louisville will continue to host the Way of the Cross for Young Christians every Friday in Lent at different locations. The upcoming event on April 4 will be led by Deacon Scott Haner at Calvary Cemetery.
April 5 marks the First Saturday Devotion held by the Marian Committee at St. Ignatius Martyr Church, with a schedule including Mass at 9 a.m., devotion, and reconciliation. St. James Church in Elizabethtown will celebrate San Pedro Calungsod's feast day with Mass at 5 p.m., followed by a traditional Filipino dinner.
The St. Serra Club of Louisville is organizing multiple events to promote religious vocations. The Cathedral of the Assumption will feature the Stations of the Cross with a program of poetry and music on April 11.
St. John Paul II Church hosts different groups, including the “Dead Theologians Society” and Parents of Addicted Loved Ones, providing spiritual and emotional support throughout the month.

An evening with a Vatican astronomer is planned at Mount St. Francis on April 4. Their Lenten Evening Series continues in early April, analyzing themes of resurrection, humility, and mercy through St. Mary Magdalene and St. Francis of Assisi.
