Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez | Archdiocese of Philedelphia
The Rising Together Alliance (RTA) is set to host its inaugural benefit and awards ceremony. The event, which aims to highlight the organization's commitment to inclusive Catholic education within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, will take place on March 20, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Springfield Country Club in Springfield, Pennsylvania.
During the ceremony, RTA will honor leaders who have significantly contributed to the advancement of inclusive education across Archdiocesan high schools and parish and regional elementary schools. An important highlight of the evening will be the presentation of a surprise Visionary Award to a dedicated member of RTA's team.
Additionally, RTA plans to announce a new name for its program designed to support students with disabilities attending parish and regional elementary schools. This event is sponsored by Communications Test Design, Inc. (CTDI).
RTA's mission focuses on providing children with intellectual disabilities access to an inclusive Catholic education in their local parochial schools. The organization strives to welcome all children into this educational environment while enhancing the ability of schools within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to offer meaningful inclusion.
Founded in 2020, RTA has expanded inclusive education within the Archdiocese from one school initially to ten schools currently.
The Rising Together Alliance operates as a subdivision of the Foundation for Catholic Education and is a chartered member of the Executive Board of Elementary Education for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
