Yesterday, Sandra Asuncion, the Government Affairs Director of the American Principles Project (APP), testified before the Wisconsin Assembly in support of AB 104, known as the Help Not Harm Act. This proposed legislation seeks to ban "gender affirming" care for minors, which includes puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and sex-change procedures.
Currently, 26 states have implemented bans on these practices for minors. Additionally, 33 countries across four continents have also prohibited such procedures.
Following her testimony in favor of the Help Not Harm Act, Sandra Asuncion stated: “If minors cannot get a tattoo or buy alcohol or cigarettes, they should not have access to irreversible transgender drugs and surgeries. We are fighting tooth and nail at the state level against the woke transgender agenda that is hellbent on destroying our children just to make a profit. It was an honor to testify in favor of such important legislation, and I am hopeful that the Wisconsin Assembly will listen to common sense, polling, and science and put an end to these terrible practices.”
