Sixty-nine students from various Archdiocesan and private Catholic high schools across a five-county region will take part in the 2025 All Catholic Chorus concert. This annual event is organized by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Dr. Marci Major, an Associate Professor of Music Education at West Chester University, will lead this year's chorus as guest conductor. The concert is set to be hosted by Ms. Evelyn Stohlman, Choir Director at Bishop Shanahan High School.

The festival coordinators for this event are Ms. Katherine Chmelko, Director of Performing Arts at Nazareth Academy High School, and Mr. Thomas Kuchler, Director of Performing Arts at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School.

The performance is scheduled for Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., and will take place in the auditorium of Bishop Shanahan High School located at 220 Woodbine Road, Downingtown, PA 19335.

Students from several Archdiocesan secondary schools such as Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor and Archbishop Ryan High School in Northeast Philadelphia will participate. Other participating schools include Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown and Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield.

Private Catholic high schools like Holy Ghost Preparatory School in Bensalem and Saint Joseph’s Preparatory School in North Philadelphia are also involved. Additional participants come from Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Flourtown and Nazareth Academy High School in Northeast Philadelphia.

The repertoire for the concert includes pieces like "Magnificat" arranged by Francesco Durante and "Wanting Memories" arranged by Ysaye Barnwell. Other selections are "No Mark" arranged by Cecil Effinger and "The World Will See" arranged by Kyle Pederson.

Tickets for the event are priced at $10.00 and can be purchased at the door on the day of the concert.
