Today, President Donald Trump signed an executive order focused on the protection of female sports and private spaces. The directive instructs the Departments of Education and Justice to enforce Title IX anti-discrimination provisions based on biological sex. Other agencies are also called upon to address this issue.

Terry Schilling, President of the American Principles Project (APP), attended the signing at the White House. APP has been advocating for women's sports protections since 2019 and ran campaign ads in swing states during the recent election.

Schilling expressed support for the president's decision, stating: “Today is a great day for women and girls in America!"

He criticized previous policies that allowed males claiming to be female to participate in women's sports and access female locker rooms. According to Schilling, these actions led to injuries, loss of trophies and scholarships for women, and exposure to men in intimate spaces.

Schilling praised President Trump's leadership, saying: "Thanks to the unwavering leadership of President Trump, our federal government will once again be acting to protect women and girls instead of undermining them." He emphasized their commitment to working with the administration and Congress to ensure permanent protections.
