Adelyn Zwick, a senior at Bishop Neumann Jr.-Sr. High in Wahoo, recently shared her faith journey with students and staff at St. Wenceslaus Elementary in Wahoo. During her talk, she discussed how her Catholic faith and love for Jesus have grown throughout her years at both St. Wenceslaus and Bishop Neumann.
Zwick emphasized to the students that they "are cool, but no one is too cool for God," highlighting the importance of growing in love for Jesus.
To support her message, Zwick brought several personal items: the Bible she received in second grade, the Bible she currently uses, a rosary, and a batting glove from her high school softball experiences. She had written "All Glory to God" on the glove, explaining that regardless of winning or losing, if she did her best to glorify God, she felt victorious with Him.
She encouraged students to persistently strive to grow closer to God through practices such as praying the rosary, reading Scripture, singing at Mass, and more.
St. Wenceslaus holds a monthly “Adoration Club” attended by all students and staff. Parents and others are also invited to participate.
