The Louisville Helpers of God’s Precious Infants will hold its monthly Mass on January 13 at 7 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Assumption. Father Bill Hammer will be the celebrant. Following the Mass, there will be adoration and prayer. More details can be found at helperslouisville.org.

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry is organizing a Community-Wide Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on January 20 at 10 a.m., also at the Cathedral of the Assumption, located at 433 S. Fifth St. Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre will lead the service with the theme "Healing Brings Peace," featuring reflective readings and performances by the Archdiocesan Gospel Choir.

On January 13, the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville are offering Taizé prayer in their Motherhouse Chapel at 3115 Lexington Road, starting at 7 p.m.

St. Gabriel Church will host the Mass for Life on January 18 at 10 a.m., with Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre presiding and Father Jeffrey Nicolas as homilist. Over 150 churches, schools, and organizations are expected to participate in this annual event.

A Special Disciples of Jesus Mass is scheduled for January 19 at St. Margaret Mary Church for families with special needs children, followed by a light reception.

St. Margaret Mary Church's Vocations Committee is hosting a vocations and Catholic trivia night on January 31, featuring fellowship and trivia activities.

The St. Serra Club of Louisville's next luncheon meeting is set for January 20 at Golden Corral, with Jennifer Wilson from Catholic Charities Indigent Burial Program as guest speaker.

A grief support group called Walking Through Grief will run from January 26 to March 30 both via Zoom and in person at St. Margaret Mary Church.

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) family support group meetings take place monthly at St. Albert the Great Church to provide support for those caring for individuals with mental illness.

Holy Trinity Church hosts GRASP (Grief Recovery After a Substance Passing) meetings monthly for those affected by addiction-related loss.

Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PAL) meet weekly on Sundays at St. John Paul II Church to offer support.

Demitasse, a musical trio, will perform on January 20 hosted by The Loretto Community in their church located on Nerinx Road.

St. Bartholomew Church is holding a trivia night event on January 24 in Magel Center with registration available online or by phone.

Holy Family Church plans a dessert card party on February 1 with admission set at $6 per person.

St. Bernadette Church offers an online presentation titled "A Timeline Journey of our Faith" led by Deacon Mike Schmitt on two dates: January 16 and January 17.

The Archdiocese of Louisville Ministry Institute provides faith formation classes throughout the month including topics like "Day, Merton, King and Lincoln" and "Introduction to Christology."
