Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Newark is inviting the community to participate in their Annual Christmas Food Drive. This initiative aims to support local families through Catholic Charities by collecting non-perishable food items. The drive, which runs until January 6, 2025, encourages individuals to honor deceased loved ones while aiding those facing hardship.

Donations can be made during business hours at various Archdiocesan mausoleums located across New Jersey: Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, and Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.

For further information about the food drive or Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Newark, individuals are encouraged to visit their website at www.rcancem.org/food-drive.

"Every donation makes a difference in the lives of those in need within our community," organizers stated. They also extended gratitude for the generosity shown by participants and wished everyone a blessed Advent and Merry Christmas.
