Boys and Girls Haven prepares for annual Legacy Celebration fundraiser

Boys and Girls Haven, an organization dedicated to supporting children in foster care, is set to host its largest annual fundraiser, the Legacy Celebration, on November 1 at The Olmsted located at 3701 Frankfort Avenue. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m.

During this third annual celebration, Boys and Girls Haven will present the Nicholas X. Simon Altruism Award. Proceeds from the event are intended to support the children and families served by the organization.

In related news, Boys and Girls Haven has announced Patty Belden as their new director of development. According to a press release from the agency, she will "lead development efforts aimed at securing crucial funding for the organization’s mission." Amanda Masterson, CEO of Boys and Girls Haven, expressed enthusiasm about Belden's appointment: “We are especially excited for her to join us ahead of the Legacy Celebration, where her leadership will be invaluable.”

The evening promises various activities including dinner, dancing, an open bar, auctions, and guest speakers.
