Bishop John Noonan recently joined diocesan priests and elected officials in Altamonte Springs to serve soups donated by 12 local restaurants. The event supported Pathways to Care, an assisted living facility offering medical respite for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Sixteen residents of Pathways designed bowls for auction, each adorned with symbols representing their personal journeys. Father John Bluett, a co-founder of the facility, and Bishop Noonan also contributed bowls for the auction.

The event took place at St. Mary Magdalen Parish and involved community partners including Light Orlando, St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church Council of Catholic Women, Comfort Canines of Central Florida, and Nativity Catholic Church in Longwood.
