Helena, Mont. – Today, SBA Pro-Life America Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Troy Downing for Congress in Montana’s 2nd District.

Since 2021, Downing has served as Montana’s state auditor, whose mission is to protect consumers through insurance and securities regulation. He began his career as a research scientist and educator before founding a tech startup company, a nationwide insurance company, and a nationwide commercial real estate firm. After 9/11, Downing enlisted in the U.S. Air Force/Air National Guard, serving eight years in a Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) squadron and completing two tours of duty in Afghanistan. He is an active lifetime member of the Montana Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the Montana American Legion. He and his wife Heather have four grown children and live in Helena.

SBA Pro-Life America’s Montana field team is working to visit the homes of 150,000 voters to expose the extremism of the Democratic candidates and the ballot measure to enshrine all-trimester abortions in the state constitution.
