The Archdiocese of Newark and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America have announced a joint pilgrimage to Rome and Constantinople. The pilgrimage will be led by Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin, C.Ss.R., and His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America. It is scheduled to take place from July 14 to July 24, 2025.

This journey aims to commemorate two significant events in Christian history: the Jubilee of Rome and the 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea. The Council of Nicaea was pivotal in establishing the Nicene Creed as a cornerstone of Christian faith.

Participants in this pilgrimage will have the chance to visit sacred sites, deepen their spiritual understanding, and observe the unity between Roman Catholic and Orthodox traditions.

For those interested, spots are limited. Additional details can be found on the flyer.
