Bishop joins Knights of Columbus at annual state convention

Bishop Edward Weisenburger recently joined the Knights of Columbus from across Arizona at the annual state convention, where he celebrated Mass with his fellow Knights. Several members from the Diocese of Tucson received awards from the organization.

James Maino was named Knight of the Year and belongs to Roy Champeau Council 8077 in Tucson. Ed Lucero; and Fr. Greg Adolf.

State Deputy Tom Kato presented the State Deputy Award to Dennis Fasciani, Grand Knight of Our Lady of the Rosary Council 13272 at St. Mark the Evangelist in Oro Valley, for hosting the State Convention.

Father Rob Neske received the Blessed Michael McGivney Award for Chaplain of the Year. He is pictured with Bishop Weisenburger, State Deputy Tom Kato, State Treasurer Larry Powers, Doug Jauques (Grand Knight of Bishop Salpointe Council 4584 at St. Andrew the Apostle in Sierra Vista), and Fr. Greg Adolf, pastor of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish.

The Knights also recognized 2LT Richard Tracy III's recent commissioning in the Arizona National Guard. Pictured with him are Ryan Tracy, Rich Tracy Jr., Fr. Greg Adolf, State Deputy Tom Kato, and Bishop Weisenburger.
