The Diocese of Columbus has announced a series of clergy assignments following the ordination of five priests on Saturday, May 18. The assignments, which include the newly ordained and four other priests, are scheduled to take place in July unless otherwise stated.

Among those assigned are Reverend Tyler Carter, newly ordained, who will serve as Parochial Vicar at St. Matthew the Apostle Church in Gahanna and Administrator at Holy Resurrection Melkite Catholic Parish in Columbus, effective from July 9, 2024.

Reverend Daniel Colby and Reverend Jason Fox, both newly ordained, have been appointed to Parochial Vicar at St. Mary Church in Marion and Sacred Hearts Church in Cardington; and St. John Neumann Church in Sunbury and Church of the Ascension in Johnstown respectively, effective from July 9, 2024.

Newly ordained Reverend Michael Haemmerle is set to become Parochial Vicar at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Westerville and Associate Vocation Director from July 9, 2024. Similarly, Reverend David Johnstone will serve as Parochial Vicar at St. Michael Church in Worthington and Chaplain at St. Francis DeSales High School in Columbus from the same date.

Other appointments include Reverend Frank Brown's transition from Parochial Vicar at several churches to St. Catharine Church in Columbus; Reverend Wojciech Stachura's service outside the diocese; Reverend Stanislaus John's move from hospital ministry to various churches; and Reverend Todd Lehigh's shift from Pastor to Dean of Men at Pontifical College Josephinum.

Furthermore, Reverends Andrew Moss and Daniel Moloney will be moving into roles within the Diocese of Columbus after serving outside of it. Confirming another appointment by the Provincial of the Pallottine Province of Our Lady of Good Health, Reverend Sesu Maria Crescensis Panguraj will transition from Chaplain to Parochial Vicar and Hospital Chaplain.

Lastly, Reverend PeterClaver Kasasa Kiviiri has been assigned as Parochial Vicar at St. Francis DeSales Church in Newark from May 21, 2024, while Reverend Eugene Joseph will be moving to service outside of the diocese at the Syro-Malabar Eparchy of St. Thomas in Chicago from May 11, 2024.
