The 56th annual Orlando Diocese Council of Catholic Women convention held on April 22, 2024, was a remarkable event that focused on the theme of transformation and new beginnings. The convention's theme, "Transform Like Christ into a New Life," was eloquently captured by Bishop John Noonan and Father Tim LaBo.

Bishop Noonan, the convention's keynote speaker, emphasized the importance of transformation in his address, stating, "Transform Like Christ into a New Life." Father Tim LaBo further elaborated on the theme by drawing parallels with the life cycle of the butterfly.

The convention, held at St. John Vianney Parish in Orlando, culminated with a Mass presided over by Bishop Noonan. Following the Mass, Lisa Marie Gill, the past president, oversaw the induction of new officers. The new leadership team includes Katherine Martin as treasurer, Annette Tornelli as recording secretary, Linda Molica as executive officer, and Kim Kendall as president.

The event was a significant opportunity for members to reflect on personal transformation and embrace new beginnings. As Glenda Meekins from the Florida Catholic staff beautifully summarized, the convention encapsulated the spirit of "Transform Like Christ into a New Life."

The ODCCW convention not only provided a platform for spiritual growth and reflection but also marked the beginning of a new chapter with fresh leadership at the helm.
