Professor Lee J. Strang, the John W. Stoepler Professor of Law and Values at the University of Toledo College of Law, is set to deliver a lecture at Franciscan University of Steubenville on the topic of "The Future of Religious Liberty in the U.S." The lecture, part of the Brownson/Scanlan Lecture series, will take place on March 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Egan Hall, Room 113 on the university campus.
Strang, a respected legal scholar with a background in constitutional law and interpretation, property law, and religion and the First Amendment, has been published widely for his work in these areas. He holds an LLM degree from Harvard Law School and has taught at institutions such as Ave Maria School of Law and Michigan State University College of Law.
The Brownson/Scanlan Lecture, named after Orestes Augustus Brownson and Father Michael Scanlan, TOR, will be open to the public free of charge.
