Nine seniors from the Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of Louisville have been honored as Father John H. Morgan Scholars. The scholarship, sponsored by the Catholic Education Foundation, will be awarded to these outstanding students at the upcoming Salute to Catholic School Alumni Dinner on March 5. Each recipient will receive a $10,000 grant towards their college education.

The Father John H. Morgan Scholars program was established by the late Father Morgan, a beloved priest of the Archdiocese of Louisville. Through his charitable trust, he aimed to provide educational opportunities for deserving seniors from each of the Catholic high schools in the archdiocese. This year's recipients have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, as well as active involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership, and community service.

The scholarship recipients have chosen diverse fields of study, including law, medicine, religion, science, and education. Their dedication and passion for these areas of study have set them apart as deserving recipients of this prestigious scholarship.
