Most Reverend Efren V. Esmilla, Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia, will serve as the principal celebrant for Mass at the Annual Indian Catholic Heritage Day on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The event will take place at Saint Thomas Syro Malabar Catholic Church in Philadelphia.

The celebration is organized by the Indian American Catholic Association of Greater Philadelphia (IACA) along with local Indian Catholic communities. It highlights the traditions and cultures of Syro-Malabar, Syro-Malankara, Latin, and Knanaya communities in the region.

After Mass, attendees will experience traditional Indian music and dances. A dinner will follow to honor Sister Gertrude Borres, R.A., who serves as director of the archdiocesan Office for Pastoral Care of Migrants and Refugees.
