St. Meinrad Seminary appoints two Louisville leaders to Board of Overseers

St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology in Indiana has announced the addition of five new members to its Board of Overseers. Two of the appointees are from the Archdiocese of Louisville.

According to a press release, the board provides guidance to president-rector Benedictine Father Denis Robinson on issues related to school programs, performance, and strategic planning for the institution's future.

The new members include Father Anthony Cecil Jr., who serves as pastor at St. Raphael Church and directs the Office for Youth and Young Adults. Father Cecil completed his Master of Divinity at St. Meinrad in 2019.

John Lueken, an attorney who is a partner and leads the estate planning department at Bingham Greenbaum Doll LLP in Louisville, has been named an emeritus board member.
