Archbishop Shelton Fabre | Archdiocese of Louisville
The annual Red Mass for legal professionals took place on October 1 at the Cathedral of the Assumption. Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre led the service, addressing judges and others in the legal field.
During his remarks, Archbishop Fabre expressed appreciation to those present, stating, “the many ways you strive for justice and reconciliation in our community.”
The Red Mass is a tradition observed both in the Archdiocese of Louisville and nationwide. It marks the beginning of the U.S. Supreme Court’s term and seeks guidance from the Holy Spirit for those working in law.
