St. Edward Church is organizing a three-part series titled “Witnessing a life of faith: leaving a legacy of love.” The sessions are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on October 9, 16, and 23.

The first session on October 9 will feature Father Scott Murphy and Carolyn Viegl. They will speak about what to expect from the last sacraments and how to pre-plan funeral or memorial liturgies.

On October 16, Cheryl Bruner will cover topics such as writing and updating wills, trusts, healthcare directives, and custody plans.

Ken Hardin Jr. will lead the third session on October 23. He will explain the role of the funeral home in end-of-life preparation through to burial.

All sessions are free and will begin with light refreshments in the A/B Room at St. Edward. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. For more information or to register, attendees can contact Mary Sullivan at 267-7494.
