The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Mission Advancement is organizing an estate planning session aimed at women. The event, titled “Women Helping Women,” will take place at noon on October 9 at the Pastoral Center located at 3940 Poplar Level Road.

The session will address key topics in estate planning such as wills, trusts, charitable giving, and ways to preserve personal values and legacy. According to the announcement, the goal is to provide attendees with practical information about these subjects.

Melody Denson, director of major gifts and planned giving for the archdiocese, stated: “Women often face changing financial and family considerations when it comes to estate planning.” She added: “We are excited to provide a welcoming space where women can learn from a trusted professional, ask questions and leave with practical tools to plan wisely and faithfully.”

The event is free of charge and open to women. Lunch will be provided for participants. Registration information can be found at https://www.archlou.org/women-helping-women/.
