Today, the American Principles Project (APP) released a report examining the growth of "gender medicine," especially regarding minors. The report suggests that the industry has targeted vulnerable individuals for profit and outlines potential accountability measures.
In recent years, there has been an increase in medicalized gender transitions alongside a rise in detransitioners. Their experiences suggest negligence in addressing psychological issues and informing patients about risks associated with these procedures. Despite calls for accountability from various groups, justice remains elusive for those affected by the gender industry in the United States.
The APP report proposes actions for the Trump Administration to address these concerns. Terry Schilling, President of American Principles Project, stated: "These so-called medical ‘experts’ are continuing to prey on the vulnerable under the guise of ‘science’ all to make a quick buck. President Trump and his administration have been on the frontlines in this fight, and our report we released today highlights a few other ways they can hold the Gender Industrial Complex accountable. Now is the time to get justice on behalf of these victims and send a message to the trans industry that we will not allow them to harm our children and families ever again."
