Walsh University recently announced that the 2025 Cavalier Soirée Dinner and Auction raised over $200,000. This marks the most successful event in its four-year history. The funds support students with financial needs, bringing the total amount raised to $570,000.
The event was hosted by President Tim Collins and Drenda Collins. Guests attended in summer soirée attire for an evening that included dinner, raffles, silent and live auctions, and a special opportunity to sponsor a Magnolia for $500. This sponsorship symbolizes a commitment to supporting student dreams.
Dr. Eric Constant, Vice President of Philanthropy at Walsh University, remarked on the significance of the event: “The Soirée is a reminder of what makes Walsh University such a special place,” he said. “It’s not just about dollars raised—it’s about lives transformed. The generosity of our Cav Nation means students will have the chance to earn their degrees, discover their purpose, and make a difference in the world. We are deeply grateful to every individual who made this incredible evening possible.”
The Cavalier Soirée is described as more than just a fundraising event; it is seen as a community effort supported by donors, attendees, the Walsh University Board of Directors, the Soirée Committee, staff, and student volunteers.
Looking ahead, Walsh University has scheduled the next Cavalier Soirée for Friday, May 15, 2026.
