The "One Book + One Diocese" program launched its first discussion evening in Holdrege on April 3 as part of the Jubilee Year celebration. The event featured a discussion led by Father Jay Buhman, the pastor of All Saints Parish in Holdrege. He was joined by Dennis Kellogg, director of communications, and Jeff Schinstock, director of evangelization and catechesis.

The program highlights a series of short books by Father Jacques Philippe, starting with "Time for God." Future discussions will cover "Searching for and Maintaining Peace" with Father Benjamin Holdren on June 10 in Seward, "Fire and Light: Learning to Receive the Gift of God" on August 26 in David City with reflections by Father Adam Sughroue, and "Interior Freedom" in Lincoln with Father Ryan Kaup on November 21.

The books can be purchased individually or as a discounted bundle from Gloria Deo Bookstore in Lincoln or online. A video of the inaugural discussion is available on the diocesan YouTube channel.
