Reverend Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D. Bishop | Archdiocese of Louisville

The Archdiocese of Louisville's Faith Clubs held a Lenten retreat on March 8 at Ascension Church. The clubs focus on faith formation for adults with developmental or learning disabilities.

During the retreat, 70 participants crafted scarves to donate to the St. John Center. Laura Zoeller, consultant for adult formation and initiation, stated that participants also gained insights into the causes of homelessness and the importance of affordable housing.

"Participants made scarves to be donated to the St. John Center," said Zoeller. "They also learned about the reasons for homelessness and the need for more affordable housing."
