The 7th grade students at Our Lady of Grace Parish Elementary School in Penndel, Bucks County, are organizing an event to promote awareness about the need for clean water. After reading "A Long Walk to Water" by Linda Sue Park, they will share insights on the water crisis affecting South Sudan.

The aim is to educate attendees about this issue and motivate them to contribute to Water for South Sudan, a nonprofit organization focused on providing clean water in Sudan. The students have set a fundraising goal of $100.

The event is scheduled for Friday, February 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., taking place in the school's gymnasium located at 300 Hulmeville Avenue, Penndel, PA. Pennsylvania House Representative Joe Hogan and State Senator Frank A. Farry are anticipated guests.

Our Lady of Grace Parish Elementary School was established in 1923. The institution is based on Gospel and Catholic traditions and encourages students to develop faith, pursue academic excellence, and serve as disciples of Christ.
