The University of Dallas has been selected by the Archdiocese of Chicago as a partner to prepare future Catholic school leaders. This collaboration aims to equip educators in the Chicago area for roles as Catholic school principals through degree and certificate programs.
Janette Boazman, PhD, associate professor of education and director of Catholic school leadership programs at the University of Dallas, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. "As the director of Catholic school leadership programs at the University of Dallas, I am thrilled to announce our partnership with the Archdiocese of Chicago," she said. "This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to excellence in Catholic education. Through this initiative, we aim to equip new Catholic school leaders in the Archdiocese of Chicago with the knowledge, skills and spiritual foundation necessary to inspire others. Together, we are excited to nurture the next generation of leaders who will continue the proud tradition of Catholic education with passion and dedication."
The Master of Catholic School Leadership is a joint degree program offered by both the Department of Education and Classical Learning in conjunction with the Theology Department at Braniff Graduate School of Liberal Arts.
For nearly three decades, the University has provided graduate degrees and continuing education for Catholic school leaders. The program now offers both a Master’s degree and a Certificate in Catholic School Leadership fully online.
The Braniff Graduate School is dedicated to renewing Western liberal arts heritage and Christian intellectual traditions through various master’s programs.
