Deacons John Triolo and William Burns from the Diocese of Orlando are on their way to priesthood after their recent ordination to the Diaconate. The ordination ceremony, which took place on April 13, 2024, at St. Joan of Arc Parish in Boca Raton, marked a significant milestone in their journey towards a life of service to the Church.

Deacon Triolo, reflecting on his vocation, shared, “I think I always knew,” attributing his inspiration to a priest who served as a role model and guided him towards a deeper connection with the Eucharist. Despite initial doubts and struggles, Deacon Triolo ultimately felt sustained in his identity as a servant of the Lord, expressing his commitment to his ministry with conviction.

Deacon Burns, whose path to the seminary was marked by uncertainties and fears, highlighted the support he received from his daughter and community. Recalling the emotional moment of his ordination, Deacon Burns described the overwhelming sense of warmth, love, and acceptance he experienced, emphasizing his renewed dedication to serving the people of God with clarity and peace.

Both Deacon Triolo and Deacon Burns are set to be ordained to the Order of the Priesthood in 2025, continuing their journey of faith and service to the Church.

The stories of these two seminarians serve as a testament to the persistent calls that have led them to lives devoted to serving others and spreading the message of faith and love.
