Individuals in the Louisville area have a variety of upcoming events and services to participate in, ranging from prayer gatherings to support groups.

On April 7, Divine Mercy Sunday will be celebrated at St. Athanasius Church, featuring confession, adoration, rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, and more, with Father Minh Vu presiding.

The Ursuline Sisters of Louisville will hold a Taizé prayer session on April 8 at the Motherhouse Chapel, while the Catholic Charismatic Renewal will host a Healing Mass at Holy Family Church on April 10, led by Passionist Father Justin Nelson.

The Marian Committee will conduct a First Saturday Devotion at St. Ignatius Martyr Church on April 6, and St. Margaret Mary Church will host VENTUS, a service with eucharistic adoration and modern worship music, on April 3.

Volunteers are needed to mow lawns for Catholic Charities’ refugee clients, and Young Catholic Professionals will gather on April 16 for a discussion on work and faith.

A concert by Les Six will take place at the Loretto Motherhouse on April 12, and reunions for the classes of 1955 and 1974 are being organized for this summer.

Support groups such as Nourish for Caregivers, GRASP, PAL, and Ups & Downs offer assistance and community for those dealing with caregiving, grief, and addiction.

Additionally, the Archdiocese of Louisville Ministry Institute will host a class on the Eucharist and Catholic Social Teaching on April 22, and Holy Trinity Church will hold an American Red Cross blood drive on April 3.

Lastly, Most Blessed Sacrament Church’s Ladies Altar Society will host a card party on April 14 to raise funds for ministry needs.
