The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry is gearing up for the 37th annual African American Catholic Day of Reflection on April 13 at the Catholic Enrichment Center, 3146 W. Broadway. The event, organized in collaboration with the Diocese of Lexington’s Commission for African American Catholic Concerns, will kick off with a Mass led by Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre and Bishop John Stowe of Lexington.

The day of reflection will not only include the Mass but also feature various workshops designed to engage participants. According to the announcement, the cost of attendance is $40 for adults and $20 for students in first through 12th grade. Those interested in attending must ensure they register before the deadline on April 4. Registration can be completed online at the provided link or by contacting the office directly at 471-2146.

The annual event serves as an opportunity for African American Catholics to come together for spiritual growth and reflection, fostering a sense of community and shared faith. It is a day dedicated to deepening connections and exploring the intersection of faith and culture within the Catholic tradition.
