Walsh University has announced the appointment of Alana Thompson as the Director of Financial Aid, effective immediately. Thompson, who brings over 12 years of experience in financial aid roles, will be overseeing the Financial Aid Office at Walsh University, managing the compliance and awarding of financial aid to students within the Finance department.

Thompson's background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University, a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University, and various credentials from the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. Her commitment to student success and higher education aligns well with the values of Walsh University.

Additionally, beyond her professional accomplishments, Thompson is actively involved in volunteer work and serves as a trustee for the Sicilian American Women’s Club in Summit County, showcasing her dedication to community service.
