Marian University has appointed Dr. Lee Ann Kwiatkowski as the new Vice President of Klipsch Educators College and Innovation in K-12 Education, effective July 1, 2024. Dr. Kwiatkowski, currently the director of public education and CEO of Muncie Community Schools, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role.

According to Kenith Britt, Ph.D., chancellor and chief operating officer at Marian University, Dr. Kwiatkowski's background as a long-time innovative K-12 leader will be instrumental in advancing the university's mission to improve student academic performance. Dr. Kwiatkowski's role will involve collaborating with key figures such as the Dean of the Klipsch Educators College and the Assistant Vice President of the Center for Vibrant Schools to develop programs aimed at enhancing teacher preparation and supporting K-12 student performance.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the new position, Dr. Kwiatkowski stated, "I am honored and excited to join Marian University as the Vice President of Klipsch Educators College and Innovation in K-12 Education. Together, we can shape the future of education, focusing on improving student academic performance and literacy."

In her new capacity, Dr. Kwiatkowski will focus on various initiatives, including launching the Indiana Institute for Literacy, securing funding for a new building, expanding school partnerships, and increasing scholarship funding for future educators.
