The Catholic Lawyers Guild of the Diocese of Lincoln is hosting its annual "Red Mass" on Tuesday, Feb. 13th. The event will take place at 7 a.m. at St Mary Church in downtown Lincoln. This Mass is open to everyone and serves as an opportunity for members of the legal profession to come together in prayer and reflection.
Father Joseph Walsh will be officiating the Red Mass, which will be followed by a complimentary breakfast and a special presentation by Joe Heschmeyer, Catholic Answers apologist. Heschmeyer is known for his engaging and humorous approach to presenting the truths of the Catholic faith. With his background in law and theology, he is well-equipped to discuss the topic of "Spiritual Warfare and Responding to Attacks on the Faith as a Catholic Lawyer."
The Catholic Lawyers' Guild of the Diocese of Lincoln aims to provide support and guidance to Catholics in the legal profession. They strive to help members integrate their faith into their professional lives, foster spiritual growth, and create a platform for addressing ethical and spiritual questions that arise within the legal field.
